I get asked all the time “How do you know so much stuff?”.
My response is I read, I go to classes, I take every single opportunity I can find to learn new stuff.
It keeps my thinking fluid, It keeps my brain muscle strong.
Most of the time, the person asking question then asks “How to I find time to do anything?”.
My answer to that is I have removed anything that does not directly benefit me or move me closer to my goals, TV, Video games, Fiction Books. I like all of these things but I do not waste much time with them. Sure I do fun stuff, I sort of work out , I watch the Colts, I go to my childrens sporting events, etc.
But, rather than waste my time, I actively fill my time with opportunities to learn. I still go to real estate training though I hand pick it more than I used to. I still take vacations though recently, due to school schedule, they are harder and rarer. I am constantly searching for more books to read. Two of my favorite places are the bookstore and the library.
The point of my rant is this, CIREIA has started educational subgroups, I have been to them all and every single group I have been too, I see the same people getting educated in real estate investing. What I am wondering is:
WHERE ARE THE REST OF YOU?
We go to get pains to put these groups on, the instructors donate their time and expertise to teach you. The content is for the most part outstanding. The people attending the groups are good people.
WHY AREN’T YOU THERE?
The new commercial group is starting this evening at 6:30pm.
WILL YOU BE THERE?
I will and so will your competition.
